Our Beliefs
At Ekklesia of Christ, we are a Bible-believing, Spirit-led, non-denominational church centered on Jesus Christ. Everything we do flows from our desire to know Him, follow Him, and make Him known.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is the final source of truth for what we believe and how we live (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

God

We believe in one God — eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, holy, loving, and worthy of all worship (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and offers salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10).

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer, empowering us to live godly lives, bear spiritual fruit, and serve God with the gifts He provides (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23).

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by our works, but as the free gift of God. Everyone who repents and believes in Christ is forgiven, made new, and brought into God’s family (Ephesians 2:8-9; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers everywhere. We are called to worship together, grow in faith, love one another, and share the Gospel with the world (Acts 2:42-47; Matthew 28:19-20).

Baptism and Communion

We believe baptism and communion are outward expressions of an inward faith — baptism as a public declaration of new life in Christ, and communion as a reminder of His sacrifice for us (Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

The Return of Christ

We believe Jesus will return again to restore all things, judge the living and the dead, and establish His eternal kingdom of righteousness and peace (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 21:1-4).
